Gorgeous rare Vintage French rustic 18K hand pendant with Natural Emerald. I found this piece on my last trip to Paris. This pendant is the most unusual hand I have seen, from the textured outside to tiny details of the fingernails and the smooth polished inside and hand ridges. The contrast in high polish to texture is just fabulous. The hand is more artistic and reminiscent of an abstract artwork than the usual delicate feminine hand pendants I see. It can be worn both palm way up or nail side up. Lovingly restored by my jeweller he carved each finger nail and custom set the Emerald into the hand, a true labor of love. This piece is one of a kind. Hallmarked for 18K and tested 18K. Weighs a nice 2.3 grams. Measures 29 mm high including bail, 24 mm without bail by 12 mm wide. Hanging from a large round bail of 6 x 5mm. In perfect condition.
