I have an incredibly RARE Antique solid 9CT Edwardian Kewpie doll pendant up for grabs. Named the Kewpie doll, the doll was first invented by cartoonist Rose O'Neill around 1909 and quickly became an international hit. These little gold kewpies are becoming increasingly scarce, and this little fella is such a rare find. This is the only solid one I have seen online. Usually, they are hollow and weight 0.8-1.2 grams, mine is a heavy 6.2 grams! This charm is over 112 years old. The details are so sweet, just look at the little butt! Antique gold so slightly rosie but blends well with yellow. Manufactured in Australia most likely by Willis & Co. Willis & Co Melbourne. Measures 31 mm high with bail, 23 mm without bail by 9 mm wide and 7 mm thick. Round bail is 5 mm DIA. Stamped 375 to bail and 9CT to back of the doll. Tested 9CT. In perfect antique condition, no damage. This is your chance to own a RARE piece of history.
