Incredible Antique Victorian 18CT chunky cigar band with large old Starburst set Diamond. This piece has been so popular and has so much soul! Featuring a stunning large Natural old transitional cut (between an old European cut and an early brilliant cut) Diamond of approx. 0.20 CT or 4 mm. Clarity approx. S12 and colour J. The gold is a lovely mellow rose antique shade, not as bright as modern yellow, it sits between rose and yellow gold. Weighs a heavy 7 grams. Blends well with yellow as it is more yellow leaning. Size O AU or 7 US but chunky bands feel tighter on your finger and you lose about half a size, it will feel closer to a N.5 AU or 6 3/4 US on your finger. My jeweller can resize for a small fee. The band is 8 mm wide. Stamped 18CT, tested 18CT. Diamond tested by my gemologist. In amazing antique condition, with light surface wear. Ring has been resized at some point and you can see the join at the back in certain lights, not noticeable when worn.
